About me
Christina is a second-year in the PhD program at University at Buffalo. She is from Syracuse, NY and received her B.S in chemistry from SUNY Oswego. Currently, she works in Dr. Bing Gong’s lab where they majorly focus on synthesis and characterization of foldamers. The research she mainly focuses on is catalytic abilities and host-guest binding of one series of foldamers. She is also in the process of synthesizing a new heptamer macrocycle which will lead to new testing of the foldamer’s properties. She extensively uses NMR and ITC to analyze and study the properties of synthesized foldamers. When she has free time, she enjoys cooking, day trips, and watching her favorite shows.
